Steel S-Shaped Spacers/Separators

This type of spacer is ideal for installing mesh and rebar.

 

Advantages:

  • Tested according to the DBV "Supports" document, in compliance with Eurocode 2.
  • The large support surface prevents volatility.
  • It fixes the distance between the two rebar planes and keeps them in their correct structural position.
  • It saves time and material due to its quick installation and 20 cm support range.
  • It is safe against rollover due to the stable support surface on the lower rebar.
  • It is stable and can be easily traversed due to the vertical uprights.
  • Ideal for installing mesh and ribbed bars.
  • The steel weight of the spacer trusses can be considered part of the rebar weight (quantity), as per VOB, part C DIN 18331, point 5.3.1.1.
